Men's boot sizing guidelines
Our boots fit true to US standard sizing, meaning you should simply order what you normally wear (or which size appears most in your closet).
- Remember, you can always exchange for a new size in our fast, free and easy exchange process!
- When in doubt, order the same size you wear in dress shoes.
- If your feet are E width or wider, we recommend ordering EE.
- If your feet are B width or narrower, we recommend sizing down.
Going with Goat?
Goat is a soft, supple alternative to calfskin. The softness of the hide paired with the oils in the leather means that these boots will begin to crease, patina, and weather from the first time you put them on. The result is a boot that ages very quickly for a vintage and worn look that takes days to establish instead of years.

What is ‘Traditional Retail’ Price?
The Earl is a versatile roper boot with universal appeal. Designed to be both practical and stylish, it features a heel shorter than that of a traditional cowboy boot. The vamp is left unadorned in order to showcase the ultra-soft, hand-burnished calfskin, bovine, or goat leather.

Calfskin, Bovine, or Goat
The Earl stands on a stacked leather heel with a rubber end cap. It’s available in our classic, ultra-soft calfskin, bovine, or goat leather. Goat is rich with natural oils, so the boots will quickly earn an aged look.

Our Signature Roper
This classic features a 1⅛" straight, stacked leather heel and 10” shaft, both of which are shorter than a traditional cowboy boot. The vamp and shaft of The Earl are left unadorned so that the fine calfskin leather can shine on its own.

A True Go-To
You’ll find The Earl to be the workhorse in your stable of footwear. It stands up under any shade of denim and adds a dash of western panache under slacks or a more casual suit.

Making The Earl
The western boot is an icon. We favor simple, timeless designs that never go out of style. Our boots are as in style today as they were 50 years ago, and will be 50 years from now. As we see it, tradition and confidence are always in, and that's what our designs stand for.
Any boot worth its own heel is made in León. From fine leathers and hand-laid cording to the individual placing of lemonwood pegs, it takes a team of artisans over 200 steps to make a single boot by hand. That’s quality you can truly feel.
